The murder of St. Emmett Till is exploited, now than ever, by the Woke Left to promote the myth of pervasive white racism. The black teen was killed for allegedly sexually harassing a white woman at the age of 15 in 1955. Monuments, memorials, and at least one movie commemorate his victimhood. Meanwhile, we estimate that between 600 and 700 white children around Till’s age have been killed by blacks since he died. And, by our estimate, ten white children were killed by blacks in the USA last year alone. There appear to be no plans for monuments to any of these innocents.
The youngest white child was an unborn baby who died in his mother’s womb in Fayetteville, NC. The mother was shot seven times during a carjacking attempt.
The oldest was Serenity Hawley, 17, killed in Blacksburg, VA by her black ex-boyfriend.
Among other things, these atrocities drive home that it’s not only dangerous for white women, but also for their children, to associate with black men. And also there’s the random stuff that happens all the time around blacks, cf. John Derbyshire’s The Talk; etc, etc.
Most of these killings were reported in our Month In The Death Of White America series. Besides collecting them in Till’s honor, we have attempted to follow up these stories. But the scandalously glacial movement of the justice system means that there’s not always much to report — even if the Main Stream Media was interested, which it plainly is not.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The MSM and law enforcement agencies are increasingly successful in suppressing the race of perps altogether, as well as details of the back (and follow-up) stories. Email us here and/or VDARE.com here if you have tips.
Byron Burkhurt, 29, was arrested.
