To paraphrase the late Andy Rooney, did you ever notice all the Grand Plans there are to fix the financial conditions of the Federal Government? They have such moving titles like:

I came across some glaring similarities in each of these reports. All four advocated a reduction in the Corporate Tax Rate and "entitlement" reform of Medicare.

And there was NOT ONE mention of the social and financial costs of Legal or Illegal Immigration on Federal and state expenditures — costs like education, medical care, food stamps, and housing to name a few.

When I did a word-search on the Adobe PDF versions of the reports, I didn’t find any mention of the words "immigration", "immigrant", or "undocumented".

Here’s a couple of reading recommendations for Alan, Erskine, Pete, Alice, Paul, and the folks at Heritage:

One takeaway in the Executive Summary: “Welfare use tends to be high for both new arrivals and established residents. In 2009, 60 percent of households with children headed by an immigrant who arrived in 2000 or later used at least one welfare program; for households headed by immigrants who arrived before 2000 it was 55 percent”

Among other details in the letter, AHA president Rich Umbdenstock notes that “America’s hospitals provided nearly $40 billion in uncompensated care in 2009”. Large amounts of that were to illegals.

Why are Corporate Tax Rate cuts and “entitlement” reform of Medicare such burning concerns for Alan, Erskine, Pete, Alice, Paul, and Heritage? Why no mention of anything relating to Immigration? Isn’t this “The Moment of Truth”? Don’t they want to “Restore America’s Future”? Or “Save The American Dream”? Isn’t Congressman Paul Ryan “courageous”?
