The national media are reporting that on Black Friday, Americans broke a record buying new guns. [Guns were Black Friday must-haves, going by the FBI’s record 203,086 background-check requests] Guns are a must have in most parts of Texas nowadays.
Not just because of the threat of human gun violence — border crossers, Hispanic and black locals, and even the occasional white gunman — but because of all the varmints that have invaded urban areas of the state.
