I sent you information some time ago about the Emma Lazarus poem on the Statue of Liberty only being there because Lazarus’s friend, literary figure Constance Cary Harrison, persuaded her to submit the poem, suggesting Lazarus "consider what the statue would mean to the thousands of immigrants who would see it as they sailed into New York".

This friend, one of the three Baltimore sisters known as the "Cary Invincibles", was apparently by the new cultural Marxist standards of today a racist white supremacist who sewed the first ever Confederate Battle flag and gave it to a Confederate general friend of hers. Clearly, the time has come to remove such a racially tainted artifact as the Emma Lazarus poem from the Statue Of Liberty.
