A Florida Reader Points To A Rah-Rah Immigrants Story That Isn’t Even About An Immigrant

I found the title of the article below interesting as to how it fits in with the "all immigration and immigrants are good" narrative.

How a Goat-Farming Immigrant Changed Everything, By William F. Shughart II, Independent Institute, August 5, 2013

The person the article was written about, Texas oilman George Mitchell, was born in Galveston in 1919.

Mr. Mitchell was never an immigrant, or as far as I can tell a goat herder. That would have been his father.

I guess an article about Joe Namath will soon read “Immigrant Was Quarterback For The New York Jets For 16 Years And Won Super Bowl 3,” since Joe’s grandfather was from Hungary.
