Re: Steve Sailer’s blog post How Many BLM-Inspired Shootings Were There on Thursday-Friday Besides Dallas?
From: A Safely-Retired Law Enforcement Veteran
Sailer asked how many incident of Black Lives Matter-inspired violent attacks on police there were — here’s one more, happily unsuccessful. The attacker was all over Facebook with threats before this happened.
Intruder shot by off-duty St. Louis County officer after online argument about Black Lives Matter, family says By Denise Hollinshed and Ashley Jost, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, July 10, 2016
See a previous letter from the same writer.
James Fulford writes: The Post-Dispatch story takes the wrong tone, in my view, but it provides the basic facts of a typical "unarmed black teenager" attack, although they don’t, in this case call him "unarmed."
The basic facts of the attack are these:
The officer, the chief said, was at home about 5:50 p.m. with his wife, mother-in-law, a toddler and an infant child when a man later identified as Gebhard started ringing the doorbell. When the wife answered the door with the infant, she immediately recognized Gebhard.
She shut the door and went to a back bedroom with other family members.
Belmar said that before the officer could get to the front door, Gebhard went to the rear of the house, where he threw a 50-pound concrete planter through a window to enter the home.
Members of the family in the bedroom said they heard the officer tell the intruder to “get down, get down, get down,” and then heard several shots fired, Belmar said.
As the shots were being fired, members of the family were trying to escape from a bedroom window.
Some facts about the attacker, helpfully provided by the Post Dispatch: he was a maniac (they say "bipolar".) He was strong, fast and muscular. (A "standout" high school football player who was a 6 foot, 1-inch, 220-pound fullback.
He was "biracial", but identified with BLM. (If you have to be "carefully taught to hate," he was.)
All in all, someone who even if "unarmed" was perfectly capable of killing a grown man with his bare hands, let alone the man’s wife, mother-in-law, toddler and infant child — note the highchair in the window.
Something like this is almost always the case when the police are reported to have killed an "unarmed“ young black man. See my article Unarmed” Black Teenagers — Threat, Menace, Or Both?
