Re: Readers Weigh In On Paul Craig Roberts
I've been out of town for a few days and found the little debate about Paul Craig Roberts amusing. I have written Mr. Roberts twice (I think) and both times he told me that I was an idiot. I wouldn’t doubt that some of the complaints about him stem from something similar having happened to disgruntled readers who don’t like Roberts.
Anyway, despite Roberts’s rude treatment of me, I would never abandon VDARE.COM because it really is "the" place to be for great immigration information and excellent writing. I will just pretend Roberts is becoming senile in his old age and continue to visit VDARE.COM.
Why should I overlook the quirks of Mr. Roberts? Well, you see, I also learned about Robert’s wonderful book The Tyranny of Good Intentions at VDARE.COM and I think that (outside of Alien Nation, of course) it is one of the most important books of our time. So, I am very thankful to Mr. Roberts for writing that book and I just tolerate his writings at VDARE.COM. Anyway, I usually like his articles even though I am quite certain he has lost it regarding the government’s involvement with the Twin Towers disaster.
I still continue to cite VDARE.COM articles in the comment sections over at Townhall.com (the editors probably hate that) including quotes from Paul Roberts. I believe it drives the Grand Poohbahs at Townhall nuts, and that is very satisfying for me. I hope VDARE.COM has more traffic since I have been doing this for over a year now and I hope the public’s support for VDARE.COM continues to grow. We need you!
