Regarding the Wall Street Journal story Brimelow cited in his blog, it’s bad enough that the authors rely on the tired euphemisms that fool no one: "unauthorized immigrants," "out of the shadows, "path to citizenship," and so on. But to report as gospel that President Barack Obama blames the Republican Bush administration for the nation’s economic woes stretches credibility.
The budget that Obama "inherited" was voted on and approved by both Democratic controlled houses of Congress including a Senator named Obama.
Since his inauguration, Obama has picked up and run with the fiscal mantle of failure left by Bush.
