I've noticed that people are starting to say "Happy Holiday" on the Fourth of July instead of "Happy Independence Day." That expression is no longer limited to the Christmas season; it is beginning to be used on any and all holidays. It appears that all our holidays are being replaced by some generic "holiday" that means nothing to anyone, as no one seems to remember or care what the old holidays were all about.

By James Fulford writes: In the Daily Paul, there’s an article by a patriot who noticed the same thing: "Have a Happy Holiday" or is it "Independence Day"? Related, (via Kathy Shaidle) Walter Hudson on “The Occasion Formerly Known As Independence Day”.
