11/06/06 — A Pennsylvania Reader Says That "Anchor Babies" Are NOT U.S. Citizens!

A Reader writes from Appleton, WI

Today I viewed the "Multicultural syncretism" exhibit at the Appleton Art Center in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin. [Send them mail.]

The exhibit featured a portrait of the bloody Chinese tyrant Mao Zedong and a painting of the World War II Japanese Imperial flag.

While I was there, a class of grade school children were being shown the exhibit by their teachers.

The exhibit is sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the Chase Corporation, and Time Warner Cable. [Click on links to contact them.]

Happy Election Day!

James Fulford writes:

The Multicultural art people have this to say about their exhibit

"Multicultural is a visual arts exhibition that explores the impact of diversity and multiculturalism in our community, using art as a means of learning about other cultures, identifying their influence on our community, and facilitating dialogue about the important role of other world cultures in our local environment."

If the schoolchildren of Wisconsin need to know how Mao Tse Tung or Japanese Imperialism influenced their community, perhaps they can visit a local war memorial. They can talk to the local secretary of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. Or see the memorial to Wisconsin born Ace of Aces Richard Bong, who shot down 40 Japanese fighter planes.

And if they want to know about " the important role of other world cultures in [their] local environment" they should read Roy Beck’s classic article, The Ordeal Of Immigration In Wausau and our extensive coverage of the Chai Vang case, starting with this article by me, and Why Immigrants Kill by Sam Francis.

Education should be fun! That multicultural stuff is boring.
