05/11/08 — A Houston Reader Says The Chronicle Never Quits Its Immigration Advocacy

Re: Joe Guzzardi’s Column: It’s Official! Legal Immigration Is A Bigger Problem Than Illegal Immigration!

Thanks to Guzzardi for his recent column on legal immigration being a bigger problem in the U.S. than illegal immigration.

Guzzardi’s article contains more shocking and appalling figures on how much mass immigration is costing the States. I’m sorry to read of it — but grateful that you good folks at VDARE.COM write about it.

I read your site every day and am constantly struck by all the similarities between the mass immigration invasions in the U.S. (and Canada) and Europe.

The players are different, of course, but so many things are the same.

I’m not one given to conspiracy theories. Yet the way our so-called leaders are behaving on both sides of the Atlantic really makes me wonder. They seem intent on depressing wages for average workers everywhere and on "electing a new people."

The story Guzzardi related about the Russian woman studying ESL in order to stay in America reminded me of a problem we have here in Ireland and the UK — and probably other Western European countries as well.

Specifically, I’m referring to the bogus, boilerplate "language colleges" that have been set up enabling false documents to be issued to "students" who apply for visas.

These aren’t genuine schools at all. They exist just solely as a vehicle for immigrants to come to Ireland and Britain for a fee that the school eagerly collects.

I wrote about two such cases on my blog that your readers can see here and here.

An encouraging note is that of 256 such bogus U.K. language institutions, 124 were closed down early this year.

Maybe the U.S. government will learn from something from this. Let’s hope so.

Hibernia Girl describes her blog as "devoted to free speech, Western Civilization and an honest, open debate on immigration issues with a little music and poetry every now and again!"
