A Reader Is Unimpressed By Car Company Advertisers Who Expect Buyers To Spend $30, 000 For A "Holiday" Present

My entry for the annual war on Christmas are the car company "Holiday Deal" ads that I see on television.

None of them even mention Christmas and several act like the country is celebrating a generic winter holiday like the solstice. I also find it absurd that they think the average American should or even could spend thirty thousand dollars or more on a Christmas gift.
