Cinthya Garcia-Cisneros and boyfriend Mario Echeverria
From: An Outraged Anonymous Reader
I have been following the outcome of the case of the young female illegal alien in Oregon who drove through a pile of leaves last October and killed two young girls. [Cinthya Garcia-Cisneros trial: Defendant’s boyfriend, brother testify about night of Forest Grove fatal crash, By Emily E. Smith, Oregonian, January 11, 2014]
The Oregonian has been running most of the stories. A peek at the comments section, however, opens up a whole new angle, not of the case, but of its' coverage. (E. G. Two Teens Held, etc.)
It seems almost half the comments on the board are from readers who have had their previous comments deleted by the editors of the paper. Many calling the Oregonian too “liberal” and “politically correct”.
The other comments take either a neutral tone of how this is tragic for everyone and no punishment will fix what happened or try to justify the defendant’s actions and accusing people of being racists.
As for the details of the case, well, it’s difficult to read without your blood boiling. She wanted to call the police but they talked her out of it.
The defendant’s brother just happened to immediately jump on his bike and ride back to the scene where they ran over the girls, not because they suspected something bad had happened mind you, but he just had to see his girlfriend right away leaving his snacks in the freezer and on the table uneaten.
The defendant’s boyfriend takes the SUV to get a deluxe undercarriage car wash to eliminate evidence but he doesn’t discuss it with her, EVEN though she is in the seat right next to him and neither of them say any more about.
