It appears to me that the British custom of Boxing Day is celebrated in America. Surely you have seen that on the day after Christmas impromptu boxing matches have broken out at malls around the country. The pugilists, however, do not appear to be immigrants from Canada or Great Britain. News reports claim participants are mostly teens, teenagers, youths, juveniles, young people, students, etc. — which probably indicates that they are all Amish.
