Jeff Flake was once a Libertarianism Inc candidate. Reason Magazine and the Open Borders wing of the Ron Paul coalition supported his economic views.
His primary opponent (he was primaried by immigration patriot Will Cardon) would have been less likely to copy McCain and Kyl’s votes on bombing Syria.
