In its assault from ignorance, the NY Times attack on Prof. Block for his comments on slavery was oblivious to his sarcasm when he wrote " … slavery wasn’t so bad, you could pick cotton, sing songs, be fed nice gruel, etc."
The Times has yet to sufficiently apologize for relegating to the back pages,
and
Hypocrisy and sanctimony are the stock and trade of the NY Times and its Manhattan audience.
