Thanks for giving Frank Borzellieri space to confront his enemies. His plight is a clear illustration of the reason that so many of us who write to you ask that our identities be withheld.
Edward Snowden’s revelations prove that all of us are subject to covert surveillance. We know that the government is not on the side of free speech, but is constantly on the lookout for expressions of "hate speech," "racism," or even opposition to certain laws and government policies. Any of us is liable to be added to some secret government "watch list" simply for expressing any opinion whatsoever. Talk about a "chilling effect" on free speech.
Now we also have the Cultural Marxist vigilantes to contend with!
I admire Frank Borzellieri’s willingness to push back against the leftist forces of censorship and character assassination, and applaud VDARE.com’s willingness to provide him with a public forum.
Pushing back is necessary. The more that folks understood what is really going on, the more likely it is that others with follow Frank’s example.
I'm sorry to say that I'm not ready to come out of the closet, at least not yet …
