A Michigan Reader Says Build A Wall

Re: Vittorio Roma’s Column: A Catholic Reader Meditates on Migration Week

As we think about immigration today, we are reminded of the Word of God, from Leviticus, 19:33-34:

"And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God."

VDARE.COM note: This approach to immigration reform was refuted in Alien Nation, p.243-44…eleven years ago! Peter Brimelow countered with Deuteronomy 28:43-44

43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
