Re: Peter Brimelow’s Blog: Affirmative Action DID Stop Army Stopping Hasan!
Christopher Monfort, the lead suspect in the murder of Seattle police officer Timothy Brenton is, like Major Nidal Malik Hasan, an affirmative action beneficiary.
Here are salient points about the suspect, a University of Washington graduate who majored in Law, Societies and Justice, a program developed to help minority students enroll in graduate school.
Monfort is a:
Biracial black/white
Affirmative action case in college
Cop-wannabe, laid off as security guard, never hired as a cop
Follower of Professor Paul Butler who openly said he intends to use jury nullification for "subversion of American criminal justice, at least as it now exists"
Suspect in pipe bomb and arson attack on cop cars
Violent perpetrator who stalked, shot and killed a white police officer with premeditation
Remorseless criminal who drew his gun and fired on officers investigating Brenton’s murder.
Monfort’s case has opened many eyes in liberal-leaning Seattle. Racially motivated murders rarely happen in Jet City (73 percent white and with an Asian population nearly twice as large as blacks). [Suspect Shot as City Mourns Slain Officer, by Mike Carter, Seattle Times, November 6, 2009]
