A Talk Radio Listener Asks Why The GOP Believes The Polls Rather Than The Election Reports

From: An Anonymous Talk Radio Listener

In Britain, the polls erroneously favored the Left by 50-60 seats (just like the polls in Israel and the U.S.)

In Britain, the pollsters' bias to oversample the Left even continued in the exit polls, which were wrong by 15 seats. Last night based on exit polls, 316 seats for the Tories. Today, after actually counting votes, 331 seats.

Yet the Republicans make policy decisions allegedly on the basis of polls rather than actual election results. They have completely abandoned the platform on which they won a landslide on grounds that the polls show it to be unpopular. In reality, it’s simply an excuse to betray the voters in return for payoffs from the big donors.
