On the Larry Kudlow show, May 24, he was talking with Open Borders economist and immigration enthusiast Stephen Moore, now “Chief Economist” at the Heritage Foundation — here’s what I heard them say:

Moore: Dems are going to attack Republicans in 2016 as haters and racists …

Kudlow: "That’s why we need immigration reform.” … It would be "symbolic".

Moore: Republicans should run on immigration reform and "tell the Tancredo crowd to get out."

Kudlow: Lists enemies: Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, "Linda" Ingraham, Ann Coulter.

Moore: "Ann Coulter is on a jihad on this issue." [MP3, at 109 min, 20 seconds]

By James Fulford: What Stephen Moore called “The Tancredo Crowd” — Republicans who don’t think much of mass immigration — includes most of the actual Republican voters. His hope to drive the Tancredo types out to the Republican party reminds me of Conservatism, Inc type Shaun Kenney of Virginia, who wrote

In the 1939 movie Ninotchka, Greta Garbo, says of the Moscow Purge Trials that “The last mass trials have been a great success. There are going to be fewer but better Russians. “

Fewer but better Republicans means lost elections — but Kudlow and Moore will keep their jobs.
