From: A Talk Radio Listener

Seven Republicans (three of them Cubans) voted against the Sanctuary Cities law and ten abstained. I think it’s a weak bill that probably will be eviscerated in conference, but that’s not why they voted against it.

Someone please list the Republicans that VOTE NO on #KatesLaw and NO to defund Sanctuary Cities !! #ThursdayThoughts NO #SanctuaryCities pic.twitter.com/ggZYlP38PY

Over at Instapundit, one of the bloggers wrote

DON’T LOOK NOW, BUT WHILE TRUMP WAS BUSY TWEETING MEAN THINGS ABOUT THE MSM, House passes Kate’s Law, as part of illegal immigrant crackdown.

On to the Senate.

A commenter replied:
Busy? It took seconds.

I'm busy, looking up which Republicans voted No …

Three Democrats defected from their party to support taking away grants from the sanctuary localities: Reps. Matt Cartwright (Pa.), Henry Cuellar (Texas) and Collin Peterson (Minn.). Seven Republicans voted against the bill:

Reps. Justin Amash (Mich.),

Carlos Curbelo (Fla.)

Mario Diaz-Balart (Fla.),

Dan Donovan (N.Y.),

Peter King (N.Y.),

Dave Reichert (Wash.)

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Fla.).

By James Fulford writes: Justin Amash (a Michigan Arab-American) also voted against Kate’s Law, which increased penalties on illegal reentrants, like the one who killed Kate Steinle. Amash, who bitterly attacked Trump’s travel ban, was the only Republican to vote against Kate’s Law.
