Re: Allan Wall’s article Operation Wetback II: A Few Practical Proposals

From: An Arizona Reader

Operation Wetback II, beautiful! I’m old enough to remember Operation Wetback and how well it worked. Of course, we have to sacrifice all of the ‘sensitivity’ we exhibit for any and all in the world who perpetually tell us how we should organize the USA and its society. The word Wetback is verboten in the current climate, and of course racist.

I would add one thing to the Operation Wetback II process. Persons who have entered our country illegally and knowing illegal should be informed that having done so makes them ineligible to return legally or illegally at any future date. This would serve as to discourage persons entering illegally initially. Enforcing this provisions would require that deportees be biologically characterized (fingerprints, eye scan, photograph etc.) so that those who do return could be identified and imprisoned for awhile before being deported once again without hearings, sob stories or other quibbling.

Again, Operation Wetback II is long overdue so please keep promoting the ideal and spreading in to others of like mind. Thank you and welcome back stateside.
