To Peter Brimelow

I have only a couple of questions for you, which I am certain you will not respond to.

Where did your family immigrate from?

Why was this immigration acceptable?

Why is immigration no longer acceptable?

What countries should we allow people to immigrate from?

"White culture" is no doubt much different than it was 100 or 200 years ago in America due to immigration. Why are only the recent changes risky to "white culture"?

What do you make of the line which welcomed immigrants to New York for decade upon decade upon decade?

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free"

I would love to hear your opinions and justifications for what can only be interpreted as xenophobic and racist ranting. It’s not immigration that is destroying the Republican parties [sic], it is offensive ideologues such as yourself. You've made me come off sounding like a liberal which is why I voted primarily as such in 2008, along with substantial chunks what was once the National Republican Party.

Your response is strongly desired.

Thank you for your time.

Peter Brimelow replied: I don’t want to be dismissive, but 14 years ago I wrote a whole book on this, which you can download for free here. It was based on a 1992 National Review cover story you can read here. When you're up to speed with this debate, write me if you have more questions. To coin a phrase, I am certain you will not respond.

James Fulford adds: That Statue Of Liberty thing gets on my nerves. It’s a great statue, but does the fact that a few friends of Emma Lazarus stuck a plaque with a poem on it trump the US Constitution? I did an article about it years ago, and put it this way:

"This whole thing is very strange. Imagine a hypothetical foreign country with immigration problems explaining its policy this way: 'We used to have sensible immigration laws, but someone built this damn statue.' You'd think they were mad."
