Today, we are announcing cancellation of the 2020 American Renaissance conference that was planned for May 29 — 31 at Montgomery Bell Inn and Conference Center in Tennessee. There has not yet been a state or federal order limiting meetings in May because of the coronavirus, but models for the progress of the disease predict many infections and hospitalizations during that period. There could therefore be prohibitions on meetings above a certain size, and even if there are not, many people will probably want to stay home.
This is a terrible disappointment for us, especially because we were already well ahead on registrations for this period compared to previous years, and were sure to reach capacity. We have reserved the Montgomery Bell Conference Center for next year — May 21 to 23, 2021 — and we look forward to a wonderful conference at that time.
The decision to cancel the conference is one of the most difficult I have had to make in the 30 years American Renaissance has been in operation. I and all our staff deeply regret the disappointment and inconvenience to everyone who had registered.
I am happy to say that we are all in good health, and I hope you are, too. We wish you the very best in these strange and difficult times, and cannot thank you enough for your support and encouragement.
