VDARE.com’s year-end fundraiser is absolutely vital to us. We raise the largest chunk of our donations between Thanksgiving and New Year. And this fall, despite record election-driven traffic, things have been getting unpleasantly tight. In the next few days, I’ll be writing more about America’s immigration disaster and how you can help VDARE.com help set it right.
But first, I want to say that, in Winston Churchill’s famous words on V-E Day, “we may allow ourselves a brief period of rejoicing .” The struggle for patriotic immigration reform, in which VDARE.com has been engaged since Christmas Eve 1999, has been cruel and costly. And no-one deserves a period of rejoicing more than VDARE.com’s faithful readers — and, above all, our heroic donors.
We are profoundly grateful to you all.
A brief period of rejoicing is also appropriate because it gives us a moment to reflect upon what has actually been achieved.
As far as I can see, Trump’s triumph is completely without precedent in American history.
And it vindicated decisively a number of VDARE.com themes:
Now we look forward with confidence to another miracle — the end of America’s immigration disaster and the comeback of the Historic American Nation.
To adapt Churchill again, this time after the Battle of El Alamein, Trump’s triumph is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
To get to the end, we need your help. Please give generously.

VDARE.com is in this for the long haul. We would have fought on regardless of the result of this or any other election.
But I now have incandescent hope that there will still be an America when these little girls reach young womanhood.
Help us make sure that this hope comes true.
