Jennifer Palmieri is former White House communications director who left the Obama Administration in 2015 to run communications for Hillary’s campaign. That means that she’s an important person in Democratic electoral politics thinking. In a leaked memo made available by the Daily Caller, she admits that part of the Democrats' implacable opposition to any immigration enforcement whatsoever is part of what Peter Brimelow termed "Electing A New People" in a National Review story 20 years ago.
“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” reads Palmieri’s memo, obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.Of course, she’s right about legalized Hispanic illegals being part of the Democratic electoral coalition. But she does seem to believe the same thing the Republican "Hispanic Outreach" types believe — that the Democrats might lose the Hispanic vote by insufficient pandering. That’s unlikely.“If Democrats don’t try to do everything in their power to defend Dreamers, that will jeopardize Democrats’ electoral chances in 2018 and beyond,” reads the memo. “In short, the next few weeks will tell us a lot about the Democratic Party and its long-term electoral prospects.”
LEAKED MEMO: DREAMers Are ‘Critical’ To Dems ‘Future Electoral Success’, by Michael Bastasch, January 8, 2018
But still, this is a plot by Democrats to "pack" the country the way FDR wanted to pack the Supreme Court. Steve Sailer calls it bringing in ringers to vote for your party, writing that
There are few things more poisonous to democracy and rule of law than a political party figuring out it can win elections by importing foreigners to vote for it. It’s unethical and, in fact, it’s so unethical that it encourages the party and its allies to go on the offensive to make the victims, the citizens, feel vaguely guilty about their “privilege.”This is a leaked memo — see below — but what it’s saying is something that Democrats have been saying publicly for years.
