I've been searching these stories for some indication of the suspect’s race, but I don’t find it anywhere, although logically the police must have some idea. It’s like there’s some kind of conspiracy to NOT say a black guy shot a cop. Oh, wait, there is, and there has been for years — it’s called the AP Style Guide.
