America’s Senator, Jeff Sessions, Condemns Obama’s Executive Amnesty Postponement to Protect Democrats

The American citizens best friend in Washington has strongly disapproved the White Houses open admission that Obama was postponing his unlawful executive amnesty until after the election to help Democrats.

Seriously, how arrogant can the administration be to admit such reckless lawbreaking openly? As spokesman Josh Earnest remarked on Wednesday:

“The fact is — or I guess, the concern is — that had the president moved forward with his plan prior to Election Day, you would have seen Republican candidates do more to make the immigration issue central to their campaign. And in the event that they were successful in their campaign, the concern would be that they would cite their opposition to immigration reform as a reason to their success. That is not a storyline that the president, or that anybody here, wanted to contribute to.”

Senator Sessions released comments:

Sessions Responds to WH Admission That Post-Election Amnesty Is Timed to Avoid Publics Wrath, October 9, 2014

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee and senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released the following statement today after a White House spokesman admitted that the implementation of an illegal executive amnesty was pushed back several weeks because they hoped it would delay public outrage until after the election:

“One is left breathless by the White House’s admission that it is timing its planned nullification of America’s immigration laws for after election day in the hope that it will spare Senate Democrats from the public’s wrath. Instead of rebelling against executive amnesty, Senate Democrats have supported it every step of the way. They continue to put their loyalty to Leader Reid and the White House ahead of the interests of the struggling American workers they are supposed to represent. America’s borders are not up for debate. Activist CEOs do not get to sit in a secret meeting at the White House, flanked by amnesty activists and Democrat consultants, and decide it’s time to scrub away our national boundaries.

We must not let this happen. We will not let this happen. The people of this country will not tolerate the decimation of their laws, borders, and wages.”

BACKGROUND:
President Obama’s planned executive amnesty would provide work permits and “legal” status by administrative fiat to 5–6 million illegal immigrants, allowing them to compete for jobs against U.S. workers in all occupations. Simultaneously, President Obama is lobbying for the Senate immigration bill, which would double the number of new guest workers for corporations to fill jobs at lower wages.
