A recent report indicates that Americans are clearly less healthy than Britons. A major candidate for this problem appears to be differences in stress levels in the US and Britain.One important question is to what extent is higher rates of immigration in the US contributing to that increased stress level? We have many Americans having more problems finding and keeping jobs, commuting longer distances to avoid immigration generated crime and congestion. The real costs may go beyond dollars.
