The Washington Post web page features two stories that, perhaps, demonstrate its bias:Here is the headline and teaser on the one sitting front and center below its big headlines about Donald Trump’s alleged spilling of secrets to the Russians:
Charlottesville mayor slammed with anti-Semitic tweets after criticizing alt-right rallyHere is the one on the Post’s siderail story about a maniac who threatened to murder Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., because she backed Trump:The online attacks followed Mayor Mike Signer’s comments about a torch-lit rally led by white nationalist Richard Spencer to save a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
Arizona man told congresswoman her days ‘were numbered’ for supporting Trump, FBI saysGranted, the second story is about an event in Arizona, the first about an event in nearby Charlottesville.
But still. Consider the difference: A congressman, who represented the district that sent shooting victim Gabrielle Giffords, a Democrat, to Congress, is threatened with murder, versus a small-town mayor who took some grief on Twitter.
Is that bias? I report. You decide.
