Not Eli Wallach:Fortunately for the American people, the Social Security Administration Office of Inspector General is on the job. It recently investigated and reported to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Alamba that Venustiano Hernandez-Hernandez, also known as The Rat, was an illegal alien who had assumed the identity of an American citizen and was fraudulent collecting Social Security disability benefits. He had been living in the United States illegally for 40 years. One wonders why The Rat did not apply for the 1986 amnesty? So, for 40 years, this illegal alien avoided the legacy INS and then U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). (h/t Election Law Center)
Al.com March 6, 2012 by Brendan KirbyWell, it is certainly clear that ICE is not interested in finding The Rat in the first place. He lived here 40 years. And ICE and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services have no concerns about aliens voting, as this blog has shown that frequently.Baldwin Man Convicted Of Fraud Voted Regularly Under Name Of U.S. Citizen, Records Show
MOBILE, Alabama — Federal authorities prosecuted Venustiano Hernandez-Hernandez for Social Security fraud and theft of government funds related to his life under an assumed name in Baldwin County, but they may have been able to add voter fraud, as well.
Records from the Baldwin County Board of Registrars show that Hernandez-Hernandez is registered to vote under the name of Severo Benavidez, the name he used for almost 4 decades after slipping into the United States from his native Mexico in the 1970s.
The Perdido Beach resident pleaded guilty earlier today to federal fraud charges as part of a deal in which aggravated identity theft will be dropped. He also faces possible deportation.
It is unclear whether federal prosecutors might pursue criminal charges against Hernandez-Hernandez related to voter fraud.
Besides not being afraid of ICE, he has no concerns about voting as well:
Packard said the 62-year-old man voted in the 1996 and 2008 general elections, the 2002 primary election and special elections on a constitutional amendment to overhaul Alabama’s tax system in 2003 and to incorporate Perdido Beach as Baldwin County’s 14th municipality in 2009.
And the Democrat Party is in denial:

‘We Don’t Have Any’ Problem of Illegal Immigrants Voting in U.S., Dem Congressmen Say
At a discussion panel on voter identification (ID) laws held at the U.S. Capitol on Feb. 17, CNSNews.com asked Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.): “What should be done in regards to illegal immigrants voting?”Congressman John Lewis in earlier days:Lewis replied, “I don’t know of any. I don’t know of any case in any — in Georgia, in Alabama, in North Carolina, Mississippi or any parts of America — that some illegal person, some person who’s not a citizen had cast a vote and I just think that’s a lot of say-and-do about nothing. That’s not happening.”
