Black Serial Killer Suspect, Black Victims — Who Are Identified As Such

By James Fulford

10/21/2014

I saw this on Twitter, and thought of my posts on black serial killers, starting with Grim Sleepers? MSM And Hollywood Shut Eyes To Black Serial Killers.

In the movie Copycat, Sigourney Weaver, playing a psychology professor, asks all the men in the audience to stand up — and then tells the non-white males to sit down because they don’t fit the serial killer profile. From the trailer on YouTube: Sigourney Weaver to homicide investigators — "You're looking for an intelligent white male, 20 to 30 years old, socially functional … "

Darren Vann, below, seems to fit the real-life profile — his victims were black prostitutes, and there seem to have been several of them:

The CBS News story fits another profile — of the Main Stream Media’s "Not Reporting Race." While we can see Vann is black, he’s not described as such, but his victims are:

The other victims have been identified by police as 28-year-old Teairra Batey, of Gary; 36-year-old Christine Williams, of Gary; and 3 unidentified African American females.

Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson said only Anith Jones was reported missing, perhaps indicating that Vann "preyed on individuals that might be less likely to be reported missing."

Gary Mayor Karen Freeman Wilson is the black mayor of an 84 percent black city. That means that she has a lot of crime to deal with, but this is unusual. How unusual? Well, we don’t really know … we do know that blacks are serial killers at least two times the rate of whites. This is actually lower than their excess for regular murders, but still extremely high.

In African Americans and Serial Killing in the Media The Myth and the Reality, [Homicide Studies, November 2005 PDF] Anthony Walsh writes

It is one of the mysteries of modern criminology that a group responsible for a highly disproportionate number of homicides of all other types has gained a reputation for not producing serial killers, or at least for producing a disproportionately low number of them.

It’s due to the whole media thing of not reporting black crime in general — and the fact that no one in Hollywood is going to make a movie in which the villain is a black male, 43, unintelligent and not socially functional, to reverse Sigourney Weaver’s formula above.
