Cantor & Boehner: "Please Sir, Is there any more?"

The uproar which has broken out following flowing Eric Cantor’s repeating of his Dream Act betrayal on Meet The Press on Sunday — Cantor: Children of illegal immigrants should get U.S. citizenshipby Andy Sullivan Reuters February 10, 2013, is, sadly, testimony to the immense power the Left has because of its grip on the television netwoorks. This was no more than Cantor had said in his AEI speech, as Peter Brimelow noted in Cantor Emerges As Kevorkian Republican; Derbyshire To Reply. Admittedly, Cantor spoke atrociously boringly, as John Derbyshire wearily observed.

I have to say I am not surprised by Cantor. Back in 2009 I dubiously asked Is Eric Cantor (R-VA) any good?and subsequently Red State’s Eric Erikson answered decisively in the negative.

However, the crucial question Patriots have to consider is, does Cantor have ADD (Adelson Dollar Disorder)? Already Sheldon Adelson is reported to have injected $5 million into his PAC — and a similar into Speaker Boehner’s PAC: Sheldon Adelson gives $5M to Eric Cantor-backed super PACby Robin Bravender Politico 7/15/12

Think about it — everyone realizes this man could give ten times this amount and not blink. Wouldn’t you pay attention?

I previously maintained that Adelson’s money influenced Newt Gingrich’s campaign in detail and suspected it caused Romney’s post nomination immigration wimp out (to say nothing of his catastrophic foreign policy stance).

But Adelson’s post election Wall Street Journal interview confirmed my fears — Ancestor worship as much as Cheap Labor lust makes him an Open Borders bigot.

The Republican Establishment is not betraying the base because Romney got 27% of the Hispanic vote compared to McCain’s 31%. They are betraying it because they are being paid unprecedented amounts to do so.
