We've noted before that "Christophobia" is something that barely has a name. Yet churches are under attack around the world. The Main Stream Media is largely indifferent.
In Poland, a priest was "severely beaten" within the sacristy. A spokesman for the diocese "said the attack could have been motivated by anti-religious sentiment, because the men entered the sacristy during the day, close to the start of an evening Mass, when it would be expected that someone would be present." [Polish priest attacked in sacristy during apparent robbery, by Hannah Brockhaus, Catholic News Agency, July 29, 2019] This is just one of a trend of recent attacks on priests. [Polish Church warns of mounting attacks, by Jonathan Luxmoore, The Tablet, July 30, 2019]
A man charged with stabbing a Catholic priest during a mass that was being streamed online from Montreal’s St. Joseph’s Oratory in March has been found not criminally responsible. [Man found not responsible in stabbing of priest at St. Joseph’s Oratory, CityNews, July 4, 2019] (This may remind you of the case of immigrant Will Baker, formerly known as Vince Weiguang Li, who beheaded someone on a bus in Canada in 2008. In 2017, he was set free without monitoring and was deemed "not criminally responsible" [Canada man who beheaded bus passenger granted freedom, BBC, February 11, 2017])
Pope Francis has, to put it mildly, not been a friend to immigration patriots in the West, nor to traditionalists within the Church. Yet the Church is still seen as representative of the West by the West’s enemies, and is targeted for that reason.
All this is simply part of a war on the West’s history, culture, and heritage. Unfortunately, the Main Stream Media is silent, if not actively cheering it on. Regardless of the Church’s actual policies on immigration or other issues, it will most likely be identified with patriotism and tradition by Open Borders zealots. Priests will continue to be targeted for that reason.
