David "Dying White America" Brooks Shoves His id Back in the Closet

Last week in the New York Times, David Brooks let his racialist id out:
For the life of me, I can’t figure out why so many Republicans prefer a dying white America to a place like, say, Houston.

That must have felt good. And he got fervent support from Jennifer Rubin in the Washington Post.

But, maybe, David felt it was a little too frank?

So this week David’s got his id stuffed firmly back in the closet with a tedious tribute to Immanuel Kant.
