An e-friend alerts me to the fact that my longest ever TV appearance — an hour and some, back in 2005 — is preserved for eternity on YouTube, in five parts: Part 1 (15m00s), Part 2 (do.), Part 3 (do.), Part 4 (do.), and Part 5 (1m21s).
He: "Your view of the race business has gotten darker since then, hasn’t it?"
Me: "Res ipsa loquitur. Hasn’t yours? But I still have no clue what the lady at 12m17s in Part 1 was 'appalled' about."
He: "There’s your problem right there."
