Jeremy Weber, writing in the West Yellowstone News, reported:
The owners of a West Yellowstone [Montana] Chinese restaurant recently plead No-Contest to several counts of unlawful purchase of fish, wildlife and game parts after an 18-month investigation by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

According to Fish, Wildlife and Parks, a search of Red Lotus conducted on June 8 found four pheasants, nearly a dozen wild fish and the gallbladders and meat from two black bears at the restaurant.

[Co-owner Herman] Chan plead No-Contest to three counts of the illegal purchase of fish, wildlife or game parts and paid a total fine of $1,500 plus court fees. Fish, Wildlife and Parks also revoked Chan’s hunting, fishing and trapping privileges for a total of six years.

[Co-owner Biu] Tsang plead No-Contest to one count of the illegal purchase of fish, wildlife or game parts and paid a total fine of $500 plus court fees. Tsang had his hunting, fishing and trapping privileges revoked for the next two years.

Weber also noted, "Fish, Wildlife and Parks said that Chan claimed that he did not know that the game purchases he had made were illegal." Well, he would, wouldn’t he?

In his defense, though, doesn’t everybody know that eating bears' gallbladders is just the prescription for enhancing virility?

Anyway, here we have another example of something that’s been demonstrated many times by VDARE.com writers: Diversity Is Strength!
