Gresham police arrested a Portland man in connection with an early-morning shooting that left one person dead today.

Miguel Ibarra-Romero, 18, was taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center on a single charge of murder.At 12:03 a.m. today, police responded to the report of a shooting at Northeast 172nd Avenue and East Burnside Street in Gresham. The incident, which police believe is gang-related, claimed the life of a 24-year-old man. Medical personnel attempted to treat the victim, but he died at the scene. Authorities have not released his name.[]
