"Don’t Abolish ICE" — But Crack Down On Google’s Search Result Meddling

By Hubert Collins

08/07/2019

I just published Don’t Abolish ICE — Commend It, at Gates of Vienna, where Baron Bodissey writes, "The following guest-essay by Hubert Collins deals with the crisis on our southern border, which is just as pressing as the migration crisis in Europe, even though the ethnicity of the violent 'refugees' is different."

If you search for "don’t abolish ICE" on Bing or DuckDuckGo, you'll find my article, published July 30, on the first page. If you search on Google, "the most used search engine on the World Wide Web," with 92.62% market share, you won’t find it even on page 5.

What you find instead is articles from The New Republic and National Review — the latter of which also published No, the Government Should Not Interfere with Google’s Search Results, by Kat Timpf, August 29, 2018.
