When I was on the job as a Border Patrol Agent, parole was rarely doled out. It usually really was reserved for people serving as witnesses, or, even for those who were charged with a crime. They would come to the U.S. and go to court, then head back. There was no blanket amnesty. However, Alejandro Mayorkas decided he could make up whatever laws he wanted to and circumvent Congress.
Now, Drew Tipton, a federal judge appointed by Trump has essentially agreed — OUTRAGEOUS: Federal Judge Upholds Biden Regime’s Parole Program, Greenlights Entry for 30,000 Monthly Illegal Immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, by Jim Hoft, GateWay Pundit, March 9, 2024. It seems like for every good decision a judge makes, there are about 12 bad ones.

Back when I was in my early 20s, my mother worked as a real estate agent. One of her colleagues was a policeman who supplemented his income by working part time as a real estate agent. One day the police officer was off duty when a vehicle coming in the opposite direction crossed the double yellow line and crashed into him. Fortunately, he was OK and so was the lady who hit him. It turned out the lady was drunk as a skunk, but she had an out. Her husband was a prominent lawyer in the local community. Her DUI case was taken to trial, where the police officer was placed on the stand. Her attorney husband asked the cop, “So, what did you do when the car came at you?” The cop said, “I threw up my hands and said ’Shit!’” (First you say it, then you do it.) The judge, a friend of the lawyer, found the police officer guilty of contempt of court for swearing and fined him. It’s been too many years, so I forget the rest of the story, but as I recall the drunken spouse never was punished for nearly killing them both.
With that kind of background, I wonder how judges get this reputation for being noble and good. They are not. Just like there are bad cops, bad teachers, and bad politicians, there are also plenty of bad judges, kritarchs if you will.
One of my colleagues worked on a law enforcement task force targeting Chinese massage parlors for prostitution. They got a wire up on the business and one of the people they caught on the recording was a judge arranging a “massage.”
It does make you wonder if there are pictures of Judge Drew Tipton with underage girls or Asian prostitutes, because how else can he come to so outrageous a decision? He’s letting Mayorkas act as a dictator.
