Enforcing The Law — Even At The White House Gate

In recent days, Federale, VDARE.com’s voice from within the federal beast, has been giving examples of eminences — university presidents, mayors, city bureaucrats, and other unworthies — who are harboring illegal aliens and, thereby, setting themselves up for big legal trouble if Trump follows through on his promise to systematically enforce the immigration laws.

As Trump said in his Phoenix speech on August 31, 2016:

In a Trump Administration, all immigration laws will be enforced. As with any law enforcement activity, we will set priorities. But, unlike this Administration, no one will be immune or exempt from enforcement — and ICE and Border Patrol officers will be allowed to do their jobs. Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation — that is what it means to have laws and to have a country.
Of course, such law enforcement should also make use of opportunities, including deportable aliens, that fall into its lap. Today I stumbled across an example of just this type of happy event that occurred in 2009, as noted then by Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies:
So, Border Security Does Work!

2 adult students taken into custody at White House

WASHINGTON — Two people facing deportation from the United States have been taken into custody at the White House gate. They had arrived for a tour of the executive mansion.

The pair was part of an adult education program, and a routine background check showed they had an outstanding immigration order against them.

White House spokesman Nick Shapiro says they were taken into custody Thursday morning before they entered the compound.

All White House visitors are required to undergo a U.S. Secret Service background check. Shapiro says agents discovered the problems and informed immigration officials, according to protocol.

Besides being a blast from the past, the date on that squib indicates that it took awhile for our current minority occupation government to fully activate their program of comprehensive immigration nonenforcement.

Anyway, may the perp walks begin!
