Via Twitter, I see that The Hill has a story about a billboard by a Finnish newspaper attacking Trump on press freedom: Largest newspaper in Finland hits Trump, Putin over press freedom with billboards ahead of summit, By Avery Anapol, July 15, 2018.

There’s more here:
As we welcome the presidents to the summit in Helsinki, we @hsfi want to remind them of the importance of free press. 300 billboards on the routes from the airport to the summit are filled with news headlines regarding presidents’ attitude towards the pressfreedom. #HELSINKI2018 pic.twitter.com/KmYJtLyeNE

There’s one in Russian, too. The funny thing about this is that Finland doesn’t have a free press--they have hate speech laws.In 2008 I did a long article called The Finnquisition And VDARE.COM,about a guy who was on trial for a blog post criticizing African immigration to Finland.
One of the thing he was being tried for was quoting VDARE.com’s review of IQ and the Wealth of Nations by Richard Lynn and Tatu Vanhanen of the University of Helsinki.
A more recent case is Ilja Janitskin, who was running a nationalist website in Spain, and the Finnish government had him extradited to face their hate speech laws:
Anti-immigrant agitator Janitskin extradited to Finland, in police custody in Helsinki
Police say they escorted nationalist website founder Ilja Janitskin back to Finland overnight after his extradition from Andorra. He now awaits trial under police detention in Helsinki.Yle Uutiset, April 14, 2018
Finland has no business lecturing Americans on a free press.
This is a content archive of VDARE.com, which Letitia James forced off of the Internet using lawfare.
