In 2017, I keep hearing the name Linda Sarsour. But I had never heard of before. Why is she famous now? Well, Linda herself has a good insight into why she’s now the face of pro-Islam feminism (or whatever her gig is):
When I wasn’t wearing hijab I was just some ordinary white girl from New York City.
But now she’s no longer an ordinary white girl, she’s a hijab-wearing Diverse celebrity, so it’s all good.
