Episode 64 of my podcast is now posted here (with copious links) and on YouTube. The subject is Pizzagate. This the “conspiracy theory” attacked furiously as “fake news” by the MSM, which has no time for conspiracy theories except for those which involve Russia. VDARE readers will doubtless remember, even if no one else does, that just a couple of years ago both the neoconservatives and the neoliberals mocked Russia as a country that was finished both economically and demographically, a country that was literally dying off. Today, the great and the good (as well as David Frum) inform us authoritatively that Russia is so mighty as to have seized control of the 2016 election.
I’ve spent many afternoons & evenings playing ping-pong with my youngest daughter at Comet Pizza

Frum, a loyal customer of Comet Ping Pong, the Chevy Chase eatery that is Pizzagate Ground Zero, was present at the creation of the fake-news conspiracy of the century: the Axis of Evil. As it turned out, Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction, and Saddam Hussein was obviously not a clear and present danger to the United States, given that President Bush put off the invasion for six months while he sought support from the United Nations. The MSM, led by the august New York Times and its star reporter Judith Miller, was a co-conspirator with the Bush Administration, feeding whopper after whopper to the American public. The media lied; people died; and trillions of dollars disappeared down a rat hole. Curiously, however, this gross embarrassment did not purge the MSM of its hubris. Quite the contrary: the Washington Post has recently made the incredible assertion that its journalistic rivals are Soviet Russian agents.
The Times and the Post are in the forefront of those demonizing all who investigate Pizzagate. It would be foolish to assert this as proof that the Democratic Party is involved in a pedophilia-child trafficking ring. I remain resolutely skeptical regarding such claims, and my podcast focuses on the known facts of the matter.
One such fact is that both the Times and the Post are without question involved in a cover-up: a consistent refusal to consider or even mention that Comet Ping Pong owner James Alefantis has engaged consistently and monstrously in sexualizing infants, as proved by his posts on Instagram (formerly public but made private when the scandal broke).
In any decent society, Alefantis (named the 49th most powerful person in Washington by GQ in 2012) would have already been ruined professionally and personally by what has already been revealed about him (and David Frum would not rush to boast of being a loyal customer).
Episodes 62 and 63 are interviews of my old friend Dennis Dale. Why two? Because a few days after my first interview he was arrested while documenting one of Portland’s many anti-Trump riots. (The irony being that Dale was one of the few Portlandia residents to vote for the Donald. )
He is an exemplar of the white, working-class American abandoned by the Democrats and the GOP and embraced by Trump. Think of him as the anti-Kevin Williamson. One particularly amusing part of the first interview concerns his brief stint as a blog writer for the American Conservative. It was there that he learned to his cost that Movement Conservatism has embraced the Sergeant Schultz (of Hogan’s Heroes) view of race: “I see nothing! I hear nothing! I know nothing!” (Episodes with links: 62 & 63; episodes on YouTube 62 & 63.)
Finally, because I’m not yet tired of winning, listeners are invited to hear co-host Kevin Steel and me devote Episode 61 to gloating over Donald Trump’s victory and our long-asserted prediction of same. November 8 was our long-awaited deliverance from the hegemony of Movement Conservatism, which, as David Frum continues to demonstrate, has devolved to ranting against the Red Russian menace. The other Kevin asked me to choose a song that best expressed my view of that glorious night, and my pick was Leonard Cohen’s “First We Take Manhattan,” which I have repurposed as a kiss-off to the Conservatism Inc.:
They sentenced me to 20 years of boredom
For trying to change the system from within
I’m coming now, I’m coming to reward themFirst we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin
