H-2B Visas INCREASED In Funding Bill — Paul Ryan Still Not Getting Message

A reader writes
Tom Cotton just stated on Laura Ingraham’s show that the latest funding bill increases the number (or funding for) H2-B visas.

Occasionally you hear someone (frequently a Congressman!) say that what the US needs to deal with illegal immigration is a "guestworker program."

What most people don’t realize is that there are already many guestworker programs. The H-2B is the one that displaces blue-collar Americans rather than tech workers.

I don’t know who in Congress is responsible for this (ConservativeHQ writes "President Ryan Takes Over") but GOP politicians at all levels (including in the White House) need to remember what the Governor said in Blazing Saddles — "We've got to protect our phoney-baloney jobs!"
