It the same thing that makes welfare bad for you. But Haiti, like most welfare recipients, would have problems even if it weren’t for foreign aid.
Haiti has been independent and troubled since 1804, when, after a historic voodoo ceremony, they killed or drove out all the white people on the island.
If help is to be provided to Haitians, it should be provided in Haiti, instead of trying to bring the Haitians and their problems in Haiti to the United States to be fixed.
