The SPLC thinks this is "hate":

Someone Tweeted economistically in reply that " Its a fact that the black community will suffer most from the jobs lost to illegals. Pointing this out is helpful to blacks."

That’s very true, but it’s missing the point. Mexican immigrants kill a lot more blacks than police do. That’s kill as in murder — the police are probably committing justifiable homicide — Mexican gangsters are not.

And finally, Canoga Park Alabama Gang Is Not The Klan, by me in 2009. If you don’t like those, you can try this impeccably MSM source.

How a community imploded.

L.A. long ignored Harbor Gateway. Now a Latino gang calls the shots.

By SAM QUINONES, LA Times, March 04, 2007

CHERYL Green was hardly the first.

Since the 14-year-old was shot to death in December in the forgotten strip of Los Angeles known as Harbor Gateway, she has become a symbol of the region’s gang and racial strife.

Yet long before the mayor, police chief and FBI director showed up to decry the violence, the tiny neighborhood lived with it.

For more than a decade, many say, the neighborhood Latino gang — called 204th Street — had been attacking blacks. African Americans had taken to warily surveying their streets for Latinos, and few dared go north of 206th Street, which the gang had set as a boundary for blacks.

In 1997, 11-year-old Marquis Wilbert, an African American youth with no gang affiliation, was shot and killed by a 204th Street gang member on a bicycle.

In September 2001, Robert Hightower, a 19-year-old Pasadena high school senior, was shot to death after hugging his sister, whom he had been visiting. A 204th Street gang member shot him, according to court testimony, because he was upset that a black boxer had beaten a Latino in a prizefight. [More]

You understand there’s a lot more of this, but unlike the Sam Quinones story above, it’s not reported as such. It’s Chicago Man Kills Other Chicago Man — Ban Guns!

At the time, Lawrence Auster said of the Canoga Park story that it “gives so little information it hardly ranks as a news story.”

In the case of 14 year old Cheryl Greene, some attention actually was paid:

On Dec. 15, 2006, Fajardo faced off with a black motorist in the neighborhood earlier in the day. He went to a stash house for a gun and then walked back to the neighborhood with Alcarez in tow looking for the motorist, according to testimony in previous court hearings.131758_gateway_KJH_

The pair came upon Green and several other African Americans. In broad daylight, Fajardo opened fire without a word, hitting the girl in the stomach, and wounding several of her friends. Green’s friends rushed her to a hospital, where she died.

The crime cast light on long-standing violence by Latino street gangs against blacks in many neighborhoods of the city. The Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations said Latino street gangs were the most violent perpetrators of hate crimes in the region, mostly against blacks.

Last suspect in Cheryl Green hate-crime murder gets 238 years, June 20, 2012

So, do #blacklivesmatter to the SPLC? Or do they prefer looking down on other whites?
