An exotic fever is popping up in Spain, and no, it’s not a new dance craze — it’s Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever. See How Did Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Pop Up In Spain?, July 13, by Maanvi Singh, NPR, 2017What’s funny about these MSM stories is they are oblivious to the immigration dimension. Either that or they ARE aware but consciously avoid talking about it to avoid being accused of stirring up anti-immigration sentiments.
The article speculates it being imported from livestock or migrating birds but it also states that one case was from when a nurse was treating a patient with the disease. Birds have been migrating for quite a while and Spain hasn’t seen this fever. The same could be said about importing livestock. What IS new is boat-loads of people coming from exactly the places where this disease comes from and yet the article says nothing about that.
