Here’s a quote that James B. South, head of the philosophy department at Marquette University found "patently offensive."

“As Americans we must always remember that we all have a common enemy, an enemy that is dangerous, powerful, and relentless. I refer, of course, to the federal government.”

That’s actually a quote from humorist Dave Barry, who’s interviewed below. This took place during the Bush Administration, when hating the government was fashionable. You can imagine how anti-government speech will be treated on campus during the Age of Obama.
